Ingredients

Semolina (Sooji,rawa) 1/2 cup

Ghee (clarified butter)  3 Tbsp + 1 Tspn

Chopped onions 1/3 cup

Chopped green chillies 1 Tbspn

Curry leaves 8-10

Mustard seeds 1 Tspn

Cumin seeds 1 Tspn

Asoefotida 1/2 Tspn

Water 1cup + milk 1/2 cup mixed together

Salt as per taste

Sugar 1/2 Tspn

Fresh coconut scrapped 2 Tbspn

Chopped green coriander 2 Tbspn

Cashew nuts broken 1 Tbspn

Green peas 1 Tbsp

Soaked split gram (Chana Dal) 1 Tbspn

Method

Heat ghee in a pan,  add mustard seeds and cumin seeds when crackle add green chillies and curry leaves saute for 15-20 seconds, add chopped onions mix well and add semolina fry together till semolina granuals are double in size,  add salt , sugar and asoefotida,  mix well now add green peas,  cashews and soaked split gram,  mix again then add water and milk mixture mix well till comes to boil,  now add remaining ghee,  mix well , cover and cook on low flame for 2-3 minutes , now finish with coconut and green coriander,  serve immediately
